Project Overview
The Arizona Department of Transportation is administering a project on the behalf of the Town of Huachuca City to reconstruct Skyline Drive between State Route 90 and the Huachuca City landfill, and to construct a multi-use path between Gila Avenue and Edgewood Street. This project is scheduled to begin construction in April 2026.
Project Elements
- Reconstructing Skyline Drive between SR 90 and the Huachuca City landfill.
- Placing pavement for a new multi-use pathway between Gila Avenue and Edgewood Street.
- Installing pathway signage, pavement markings, and landscaping.
What to Expect
One lane will remain open at all times with flagging operations in place. Access to residents will be maintained.
ADOT will provide advance notice of restrictions and closures on the project traffic alert web page.
Schedule
Construction will begin in April 2026 and is expected to be completed by spring 2027. Schedules are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
