Overview
The Arizona Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin a roadway lighting project late-March on US 70 located east of Globe (mileposts 256-259).

Project Schedule
Construction on this project is scheduled to begin late-March with project completion planned for fall 2026. Work hours are tentatively scheduled from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Schedules are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

What to Expect
- Daily shoulder work and speed reductions in the work zone are expected.
- Intermittent lane restrictions with flagging operations are tentatively planned.
- Drivers should be prepared to slow down when approaching the work zone, expect delays and allow for extra time when traveling through the area.
