Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation is tentatively scheduled to begin a pavement rehabilitation project on Interstate 10, between the California/Arizona border and Dome Rock Road in La Paz County in late fall 2026.

Project Elements

  • Milling and replacing the existing pavement with new pavement 
  • Extending pipe culverts 
  • Replacing guardrail and guardrail end terminals
  • Replacing signage, pavement markings and other related work

Project Schedule

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin late fall 2026 and is expected to take one year to complete.
