Plan for daytime alternating lane restrictions on I-10 near Plomosa Dec. 9-13
Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for alternating lane restrictions on Interstate 10 near Plomosa beginning Monday, Dec. 9, for paving.
The following restrictions will occur daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.:
- Westbound I-10 between Scaddan Wash and milepost 30 will be reduced to one lane beginning Monday, Dec. 9, and ending Wednesday, Dec. 11.
- Eastbound I-10 between Scaddan Wash and milepost 30 will be reduced to one lane beginning Thursday, Dec. 12, and ending Friday, Dec. 13.
- A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph.
Drivers should plan for delays, obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
