- East- and westbound I-10 will be reduced to a single lane at Gold Nugget Road (Exit 26), to protect the safety of the public and workers during construction on the overpass. Note: Only one direction will be impacted at a time. Restrictions will occur as needed.
- A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 65 mph.
The I-10 Gold Nugget Road overpass (Exit 26) will continue to be closed 24 hours a day through Friday, Aug. 9. Vehicles will be allowed to exit at Gold Nugget Road and either re-enter east- and westbound I-10 or make a right turn onto Gold Nugget Road; however, access to the overpass will be completely blocked off.
Detour: Westbound traffic detours to Riggles Avenue (Exit 19) to access eastbound I-10. Eastbound traffic detours to US 60 interchange (Exit 31) to access westbound I-10.
Drivers should plan for delays, obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
