Drivers should expect long delays and allow extra travel time
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for alternating lane restrictions on Interstate 10 near Plomosa beginning Monday, Jan. 27, for seeding and electrical work.
The following restrictions will occur daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.:
- East- and westbound I-10 between Scaddan Wash and milepost 30 will be reduced to one lane beginning Monday, Jan. 27, and ending Friday, Jan. 31.
- A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph.
Drivers should plan for long delays, obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
