
Plan for daily lane restrictions on SR 95 in Quartzsite beginning April 22
Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for north- and southbound lane restrictions along State Route 95 in Quartzsite for bridge rehabilitation work.
The following lane restrictions will begin at 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, and continue 24-hours a day, seven days a week through the end of May:
- North- and southbound SR 95 at milepost 112 (near Road 244) will be reduced to one lane. A temporary traffic signal will move traffic through the area.
- A 14-foot width restriction will be in place.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.
The following lane restrictions will continue 24-hours a day, seven days a week through the end of May:
- North- and southbound SR 95 at the Climax Wash Bridge (near milepost 114) will be reduced to one lane via a temporary traffic signal.
- A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.
Delays are likely, so allow extra travel time. Proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
