Plan for alternating daytime lane restrictions on US 60 near Vicksburg beginning Sept. 16

The Arizona Department of Transportation is repairing the pavement on US 60 between Vicksburg Road (milepost 45.72) and State Route 72 junction near Vicksburg. The work consists of removing the existing pavement surface and replacing it with new asphalt concrete.
Milling the existing pavement and replacing it with new pavement
Replacing guardrail and guardrail end terminals
Replacing pavement markings and other related work
The project is scheduled to begin spring 2024 with completion anticipated fall 2024. Schedules are subject to change because of weather and other unforeseen situations.
Work is scheduled to occur weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., though some night and/or weekend work may be required.
Drivers are asked to obey posted speed limits, traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
