US 60 Wickenburg Sidewalk & Driveway Improvements

Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Town of Wickenburg, has initiated a sidewalk and driveway improvement project along US 60, roughly between Vulture Mine Road and US 93 in Wickenburg (mileposts 108-111). Work consists of improving existing sidewalks, sidewalk ramps, curbs, curb/gutter and driveways to comply with federal Americans with Disability Act (ADA) requirements.

Project Schedule

Work is scheduled to begin late October 2025 and will be completed in early spring 2026. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.

What to Expect

• Construction work is scheduled during daytime hours, depending on scheduled activities. 
• Lane restrictions will be in place from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. 
• Throughout construction, business driveway access and a minimum of one lane in each direction will be maintained at all times.  
• ADOT advises drivers to plan for possible delays while the work is underway. Use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the restrictions are in place.

Drivers should plan for extra travel time and watch for construction workers and equipment while traveling through the area. ADOT will provide advance notice of restrictions and closures to email subscribers and on this project webpage.
