Every so often, we get a call about a dog or cat that has made its way onto the freeway. Not only are these extremely dangerous situations for the animals, it also threatens the safety of unexpecting motorists and the responders – often, ADOT crews – who attempt to rescue them.

When out on a leisurely walk, run or bicycle ride, we all want the piece of mind that we’ll have safe spaces to walk, run and ride our bikes in and ADOT gets that. That’s why one of the main goals of the Interstate 10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project is to enhance pedestrian and bicyclist connectivity within the project area.
