PRESCOTT VALLEY  – The Arizona Department of Transportation will begin a project this spring to replace three miles of pavement on State Route 69 in Prescott Valley.

Last year, about 6,000 volunteers picked up 12,500 bags of trash from along Arizona’s highways. The equivalent dollar amount associated with this volunteer effort is about $628,785. Considering that  — that’s a lot of dollars that could be used to dispose of trash properly. 

There will be rumblings the weekend of April 22-23 as the Arizona Department of Transportation’s (ADOT) I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project gears up to remove the old 48th Street and Broadway Road bridges over Interstate 10.

Overview Project Cost: $10,731,525 The Arizona Department of Transportation is initiating a pavement life-extension project on Interstate 40  west of the city of Holbrook (mileposts 278-283). The 5-mile-long project between Joseph City and Perkins Valley Road is scheduled to begin this spring.
