Eastbound I-10 overnight lane restrictions between Avondale Boulevard and 75th Avenue planned this week, Nov. 4-6
  • Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to two lanes between Avondale Boulevard and 75th Avenue from 9 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 4, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. 
  • Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to two lanes between 107th and 75th avenues from 9 p.m. Thursday Nov. 5, to 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6.
UPCOMING CLOSURES
  • The westbound I-10 frontage road between 91st and 99th avenues will be CLOSED from 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9.
    • DETOUR: Drivers may consider using McDowell Road for westbound travel.
  • The westbound I-10 frontage road will be narrowed to one lane between 91st and 99th avenues from 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, and again from 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, to 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7.
ON-GOING RESTRICTIONS

  • Eastbound I-10 between 99th and 75th avenues will have a lane width restriction of 11 feet and a reduced speed of 55 mph from Aug. 10 to Dec. 31.

  • East- and westbound Thomas Road at Loop 101 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday nights while the long-term turn lane restrictions are in place beginning Monday, June 8. NOTE: Left turns will still be allowed. 

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

State Route 30 (Tres Rios Freeway)

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), has initiated a project to build a new freeway in the southwest valley, State Route 30 (Tres Rios Freeway). The new freeway will serve as a traffic reliever and alternate route to Interstate 10, crossing the cities of Buckeye, Goodyear, Avondale and Phoenix.
