Recently, we were asked on social media about merging into a center left-turn lane on a surface street:

  • Eastbound Loop 202 will be closed between Arizona Avenue and Gilbert Road from 10 p.m. Friday, April 24, to 5 a.m. Monday, April 27.
    • The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramps at Price, Dobson and Alma School roads and the southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) HOV ramp to eastbound Loop 202 also will be closed. 
    • The westbound Loop 202 HOV lane also will be closed between Arizona Avenue  and Gilbert Road from 10 p.m. Friday, April 24, to 11:59 p.m. Saturday, April 25.
    • Detour: Drivers may consider using Germann or Pecos roads to travel around the closure.
       
  • UPDATED: The weekend closure of Lindsay Road at Loop 202 originally scheduled April 24-27 has been rescheduled. Lindsay Road will now be closed in both directions at Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday, May 1, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 4.
    • NEW: Lindsay Road also will be closed in both directions nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, April 27, to the morning of Friday, May 1. 
    • Detour: Drivers may use Pecos or Germann roads to navigate around the closure.
       
  • The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Arizona Avenue will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, May 1, to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 2.
    • Eastbound Loop 202 also will be narrowed to two lanes between Arizona Avenue and McQueen Road during this time.
    • Detour: Drivers may use the Loop 202 eastbound on-ramp at Alma School or Cooper roads.
       
  • Westbound Loop 202 will be closed at Gilbert Road from 10 p.m. Friday, May 1, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 4.
    • Detour: Westbound Loop 202 drivers will be able to exit at Gilbert Road and travel straight back on to the freeway at the on-ramp.

The westbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Arizona Avenue is now open.

CURRENTLY CLOSED:

The westbound Loop 202 off-ramp at McQueen Road is closed for approximately 60 days beginning 9 p.m. Friday, April 17.

  • Detour: Drivers may consider using the eastbound off-ramp at Cooper Road or Arizona Avenue.

  • Detour: Drivers may consider using the westbound Loop 202 on-ramp at McQueen or Gilbert roads. 

The eastbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Cooper Road is closed for approximately 60 days beginning 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 17.

  • Detour: Drivers may consider using the eastbound off-ramp at McQueen or Gilbert roads.

The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at McQueen Road is closed for approximately 60 days beginning 9 p.m. Monday, March 2.

  • Detour: Drivers may consider using the eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Arizona Avenue or Cooper Road.
