But do you know which type of seat is best for your child? Or when it’s time to transition your child from a car seat to a booster seat to wearing a seat belt? 

Our Northcentral District administrator explains big projects his staff is working on, including improving Interstate 17 pavement south of Flagstaff and replacing the I-17 bridge at J.W. Powell Boulevard. He also explains how ADOT personnel deal with the challenge of severe winter weather.

We're excited to share that an ADOT project that added Loop 303 interchanges at 43rd and 51st avenues is a national finalist for top honors in the 2024 America’s Transportation Awards. We also want Arizonans to know that one of those honors, the People’s Choice Award, is decided by the public.  

Though it’s no longer open to cars, the Walnut Canyon Bridge near Flagstaff has been standing for 100 years.
