  • UPDATED: Westbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Interstate 17 and 51st Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, to 8 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20.
    • The following ramps also will be closed:
      • The westbound Loop 101 on-ramps at 27th and 35th avenues
      • The westbound Loop 101 off-ramp at 51st Avenue
      • The north- and southbound I-17 ramps to westbound Loop 101
    • DETOUR: Drivers may consider using Union Hills Drive as an alternate route to connect with westbound Loop 101 at 51st or 59th avenues.
       
  • The westbound Loop 101 on-ramp at 51st Avenue and the westbound Loop 101 off-ramp at 59th Avenue will be closed from 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18.
    • Westbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to three lanes in the area.
    • DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the westbound Loop 101 on-ramp at 59th Avenue or the westbound Loop 101 off-ramp at 67th Avenue.

Upcoming closure

  • Eastbound Loop 101 will be closed between 75th and 51st avenues from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28.
    • The eastbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Union Hills Drive and Bell Road also will be closed.
    • DETOUR: Drivers may consider using eastbound Union Hills Drive to 51st or 35th avenues to connect with eastbound Loop 101.

Ongoing lane restrictions

  • The eastbound Loop 101 frontage road is reduced to one lane between 37th and 35th avenues through mid-October.

  • Westbound Loop 202 will be closed between Cooper and Alma School roads from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21. 
    • NOTE: A maintenance closure of westbound Loop 202 between US 60 and Cooper Road also will be in place from 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, to noon Sunday, Sept. 20. 
    • DETOUR: Drivers in the Mesa and Gilbert areas are encouraged to take westbound US 60 to reach their destination; drivers in the Chandler area may consider using Pecos or Germann roads to reconnect with westbound Loop 202 at Alma School or Price roads.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

Long Term Restrictions
 

  • The left lane on southbound Price Road will continue to be closed at Loop 202 through 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25. 
    • The turn lanes on Price Road to east- and westbound Loop 202 will be restricted to one lane.
  • The right lane on northbound Arizona Avenue will be closed between Willis Road and Loop 202 from 3 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7. 
  • UPDATE: The westbound Loop 202 to northbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) ramp will be narrowed to one lane from 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5.
