The Arizona Department of Transportation is on target to complete the State Route 95 Needles Bridge Rehabilitation project in April.

The majority of the construction work has already been completed, including:

  • Installing a new concrete bridge deck overlay to the existing bridge surface.
  • Removing and replacing the pavement on the riding surface of the bridge.
  • Replacing the bridge bearing pads and guardrail.

Remaining work includes reconstructing the southbound bridge approach and departure slabs, and applying the final lane striping.

Around-the-clock lane restriction on the State Route 95 Needles Bridge will continue to be in place through the end of construction in April.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around personnel and equipment while construction is underway.
