US 93 Pavement Project: Legend Ranch Road to Date Creek Road

Project Cost: $1.3 million

Project Overview  

The Arizona Department of Transportation is initiating a construction project to repair three segments of pavement on US 93 in Mohave and Yavapai counties. The work consists of removing and replacing the top layer of pavement to improve riding conditions for drivers.

The paving repair locations are:

  • Legend Ranch Road to the northern city limits of Kingman (mileposts 59 to 70). 
  • South of the junction with I-40 to Breccia Drive (mileposts 95 to 97). 
  • Date Creek Bridge to Date Creek Ranch Road (mileposts 174 to 176).

US 93 Pavement Project Map

Work includes:

  • Making spot pavement repairs, applying new pavement markings and other related work.

What to expect during construction

  • Daytime work will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. 
  • Intermittent north- and southbound lane restrictions.
  • On-site flaggers and a pilot car will assist with traffic control when lane restrictions are in place.
  • The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.
  • Construction-related noise.

ADOT reminds drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

Project Schedule 

Work is scheduled to begin in spring 2024. Schedule subject to change based on weather or other unforeseen factors.
