Ahwatukee-area restrictions 

  • East- and westbound Warner Road will be reduced to one lane from I-10 to South Wakial Loop from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, May 17, and Monday, May 18. 
    • The westbound I-10 on- and off-ramps at Warner Road will be closed.
      • Detour: Drivers may consider using the I-10 on- and off-ramps at Elliot or Ray roads to 48th Street to reach Warner Road beyond the

NOTE: Uneven pavement surface is temporary and will be smoothed as project progresses; no SR 51 freeway closures planned May 22-25 

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises Phoenix area drivers to plan for the following nightly lane restrictions for bridge work:

  • NEW: Southbound SR 51 will be narrowed

Southbound Country Club Drive (SR 87) lane restrictions between Desert Lane and Guadalupe Road begin May 5

  • Southbound Country Club Drive will be narrowed to two lanes between Desert Lane and Guadalupe Road beginning 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, and ending 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 26.

Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) lane restrictions and ramp closures between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road scheduled May 19-22

No restrictions scheduled over Memorial Day weekend 

  • North- and southbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday, May 19, and ending Friday morning, May 22.

Plan for continuing daytime lane restrictions on north- and southbound SR 187 on the Gila River Indian Community through July

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for continuing lane restrictions on State Route 187, between the Interstate 10 and SR 387 junction (milepost 186) and SR 87 (milepost 192)

Paving operations start May 3

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling in Globe to expect the following restrictions on US 60, between Santee Street and US 70 (mileposts 250-252), for milling and paving operations:

  • US 60 east- and westbound lane restrictions nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, May 3.
    • Temporary driveway restrictions will be in place

SCAM ALERT - July 30, 2025:

Some people have reported receiving a text message including an ADOT Motor Vehicle Division logo and demanding payment for an outstanding traffic citation. This is a scam.  It has no connection to ADOT and should be ignored.
