Southbound SR 51 lane restrictions scheduled nightly April 7-10
REMINDER: No SR 51 freeway closures planned April 3-6; southbound SR 51 closed between Indian School Road and I-10 April 10-13

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises Phoenix area drivers to plan for the following nightly lane restrictions:

  • Southbound SR 51 will be narrowed to one or two lanes between Shea Boulevard and Northern Avenue nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., starting Tuesday, April 7, and ending Friday morning, April 10.

UPCOMING CLOSURES

  • Southbound SR 51 will be CLOSED between Indian School Road and I-10 (at the “Mini-Stack Interchange”) from 9 p.m. Friday, April 10, to 5 a.m. Monday, April 13.

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

This update removes the SR 83 driveway restriction and extends the lane restriction schedule through April.

 

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling on east- and westbound State Route 83 between Black Oak Drive (milepost 31) and Lower Elgin Road (milepost 29) in Sonoita to expect continuing lane restrictions through April, as work continues on a pavement rehabilitation project.

Motorists can expect the following restrictions:

  • Daily lane restrictions on east- and westbound SR 83 between mileposts 31 and 29 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Rolling lane restrictions as crews work through multiple sections of the project area. 
  • Flagging operation in the project area
  • Speed limit of 25 mph in the work zone

Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zone

Schedules are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

This update extends the end date for the lane restrictions from March 31.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling on north- and southbound State Route 387 in Casa Grande to expect 24/7 lane restrictions to continue at milepost 4 as work on an intersection improvement project is extended from Tuesday, March 31, through April.

Motorists can expect the following around-the-clock restrictions:

  • North- and southbound left-lane restrictions on SR 387 at milepost 4
  • A flagging operation will be in place for pole installation
  • A speed limit of 25 mph in the work zone

Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

Northbound Country Club Drive lane restriction begins March 30 and San Angelo Street lane restriction begins March 31

Southbound Country Club Drive

  • UPDATED: Southbound Country Club Drive will continue to be narrowed to two lanes between Guadalupe Road and the Western Canal through approximately 3 p.m. Monday, March 30.

Northbound Country Club Drive

  • NEW: Northbound Country Club Drive will be narrowed to two lanes between Guadalupe Road and Desert Lane beginning approximately 3 p.m. Monday, March 30, and ending 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 5.
  • NEW: Westbound San Angelo Street at Country Club Drive will be closed beginning 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, and ending 5 a.m. Tuesday, April 14.
    • Eastbound San Angelo Street at Country Club Drive will then be closed for approximately two weeks after westbound opens.
