ADOT reopens improved I-10 Orange Grove interchange

The Arizona Department of Transportation has finished reconstructing the interchange of Interstate 10 and Orange Grove Road, reopening the busy interchange to traffic early Wednesday morning.

Centennial Boulevard and Pinal Avenue (SR 387) Intersection Improvements

Detour in place during closures from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures on US 60 for a bridge replacement project:

US 60 between Superior and Miami (mileposts 227-243) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, Wednesday, Nov. 5, and Thursday, Nov. 6.

Detour: Eastbound US 60 drivers use southbound State Route 177 through Winkelman to northbound SR 77. Westbound US 60 drivers use southbound SR 77 through Winkelman to northbound SR 177. Due to the roughly 75-mile length of this detour, drivers may want to consider planning travel before 9 a.m. and after 2 p.m. The detour is estimated to add an additional hour for trips between Superior and Miami.

US 60 west of Miami, near milepost 241, will continue to have alternating lane restrictions for east- and westbound travel for flood-damage repairs. Flaggers and a pilot car will assist drivers through the work zone. Upcoming full closures:

No lane restrictions or closures are planned on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day.
US 60 between Superior and Miami will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, and Thursday, Nov. 13. Detour in place during closures.

US 60 reopened between Superior and Miami after extended closure

Full closures for this project, which is replacing the Queen Creek Bridge and Waterfall Canyon Bridge east of Superior, are normally scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
