Whether you’re celebrating the Fourth of July holiday with hot dogs and barbecue, attending a fireworks show or spending time with family and friends, we want to remind Arizonans to designate a driver or have a game plan of how you’re getting home after the festivities are over.

SR 69 Lee Blvd - Walker Road

The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a safety project on State Route 69 in Prescott (milepost 293). The work consists of constructing a new raised center median and widening the southbound outside lane along SR 69.

US 60 (Grand Avenue), 85th Avenue to I-17 Pavement Project

The Arizona Department of Transportation will be conducting a pavement rehabilitation project along an 11-mile section of US 60 (Grand Avenue) from 85th Avenue to Interstate-17. The project will replace the worn pavement to improve the driving experience and safety.

UPDATE: Eastbound Loop 303 closures between 43rd Avenue and I-17 scheduled June 18-27

This alert updates the dates and times for the eastbound Loop 303 closures and adds a westbound Loop 303 closure and an I-17 off-ramp closure at Loop 303/Sonoran Desert Drive

Eastbound Loop 303 will be CLOSED between 43rd Avenue and I-17 at the following times:
- 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, June 18, and Wednesday, June 24 (UPDATED)
- Nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, June 24, (UPDATED) and ending Friday morning, June 26
- 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. Saturday, June 27 (UPDATED)
- DETOUR: Drivers may use northbound 43rd Avenue to eastbound Dove Valley Road to access north- and southbound I-17.

The eastbound Loop 303 closures previously scheduled for June 17, June 19-20 and June 26-27 have been postponed.

NEW: Westbound Loop 303 will be CLOSED between I-17 and 43rd Avenue from 3 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27.
- At the same time the northbound I-17 off-ramp at Loop 303/Sonoran Desert Drive will be CLOSED.
- DETOUR: Drivers may use the I-17 off-ramp at Dove Valley Road and travel west to southbound 43rd Avenue to Loop 303 or eastbound Dove Valley Road to southbound North Valley Parkway to access Sonoran Desert Drive.
