The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a project on State Route 89 in Paulden between Bramble Drive and Big Chino Road (mileposts 338-339) to construct a new center turn lane (median).

US 60 (Grand Avenue), 85th Avenue to I-17 Pavement Project

The Arizona Department of Transportation will be conducting a pavement rehabilitation project along an 11-mile section of US 60 (Grand Avenue) from 85th Avenue to Interstate-17. The project will replace the worn pavement to improve the driving experience and safety.

Eastbound Loop 303/Sonoran Desert Drive closed between 43rd Avenue and I-17 Sept. 18-21

Loop 303 nightly closures continue next week; eastbound Loop 303 closed between 43rd Avenue and I-17 Sept. 25-28

Eastbound Loop 303/Sonoran Desert Drive will be closed from 43rd Avenue to just east of the I-17 bridge from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21.
- EASTBOUND LOOP 303 DETOUR: Eastbound Loop 303 drivers may use northbound 43rd Avenue to eastbound Dove Valley Road to access north- and southbound I-17 or eastbound Dove Valley Road to southbound North Valley Parkway to access Sonoran Desert Drive.
- SOUTHBOUND I-17 DETOUR: Southbound I-17 drivers wanting to access Sonoran Desert Drive may use eastbound Dove Valley Road to southbound North Valley Parkway to access Sonoran Desert Drive.
UPDATE: The westbound Loop 303 overnight closure between I-17 and 43rd Avenue previously scheduled for Thursday night, Sept. 17, has been postponed.

UPCOMING CLOSURES

UPDATED: Westbound Loop 303 will be closed nightly between I-17 and 43rd Avenue from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Sept. 21, ending Friday morning, Sept. 25.
- DETOUR: Drivers may use the northbound I-17 frontage road to westbound Dove Valley Road to southbound 43rd Avenue to access Loop 303.
Eastbound Loop 303 will be closed between 43rd Avenue and I-17 from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28.

REMINDER: Long-term lane restriction

Use alternate route and plan for delays while the restriction is in place through October

Westbound Loop 303 will be narrowed to one lane between I-17 and 43rd Avenue through October.
- NOTE: The speed limit is 45 mph in this part of the work zone.
- DETOUR: To limit delays, drivers may consider using the northbound I-17 off-ramp at Dove Valley Road and traveling west to southbound 43rd Avenue to access Loop 303.
