It’s your time to let ADOT know how to plan for the next 5 years

There are two basic kinds of questions ADOT employees get asked all the time: “When are you doing something to improve this highway?” And, “How can I have a say in what projects should be next?”

It turns out that now is the perfect time to get answers to both questions.

What can I do if ADOT does not have a specification for my type of product?

You may market your product directly to contractors who bid on ADOT construction projects. PEP is not involved in this process.
You may request that ADOT develop a specification for the product type by completing a Standards Committee Request.

Please reach out to the APL coordinator, via email [email protected] for adding a category. The department will then determine if the additional category will be added.

This project is complete

The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed a bridge replacement project at the Interstate 40 Willow Creek Bridge #3, between the town of Seligman and the city of Kingman in Mohave County. The project included the removal and replacement of the existing eastbound bridge as well as the approach slabs, paving, guardrail and pavement markings.

For what products may I submit an application?

The APL lists products by category. ADOT maintains a specification for each category and subcategory. Vendors and manufacturers are invited to submit applications for products that have a category or subcategory on the APL. Applications for products that do not have an APL category will not be evaluated. Please submit applications through the AZPEP Portal.
