The Arizona Department of Transportation is designing a project to widen US 95 between the Wellton-Mohawk Canal (milepost 38.5) and Imperial Dam Road (milepost 43.4).

The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed a pavement rehabilitation project located in Greenlee County on US 191 between milepost 160 and 173 near the Town of Clifton.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for restrictions and delays on State Route 79 from the Fannin-McFarland Aqueduct at milepost 132 (north of Salazar Street) to Jason Lopez Circle at milepost 135 in Florence while crews perform a pavement improvement project. Crews will perform nightwork from 8 p.m. to  8 a.m. Sunday, July, 21 through Friday, July 26. The remainder of the work will be completed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through Aug 25. The heaviest delays are expected July 22 through July 27 while crews perform the milling and paving portion of the project. 

Drivers should prepare for:

  • A reduced speed limit of 25 mph
  • 12-ft width restriction
  • Flagging operation to help drivers navigate the area

Schedule is subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

Reminder: Southbound Loop 101 closed in north Scottsdale Nov. 7-10

ADOT set to soon open a new southbound Loop 101 lane and the southbound off-ramp at Raintree Drive; Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard closed Nov. 12-13

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following Loop 101 closure for freeway widening as part of the current Loop 101 project in north Scottsdale.

SOUTHBOUND LOOP 101 CLOSURE

  • Southbound Loop 101 will be closed between Hayden Road and Shea Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10. The eastbound/southbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Scottsdale Road also will be closed. 
    • Detour: Drivers may consider using southbound Scottsdale Road to eastbound Shea Boulevard to access Loop 101 beyond the closure.

Following this weekend’s closure, a new southbound Loop 101 lane is scheduled to open to traffic. Crews opened a new northbound lane this past Monday morning (Nov. 3). 

Meanwhile, the southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Raintree Drive, which has been closed for reconstruction, is expected to reopen following the upcoming weekend closure.

​​​FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT BOULEVARD CLOSURE​​​​

  • East- and westbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard at Loop 101 will continue to be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday morning, Nov. 7, and again from 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13.
    • Eastbound detour: Drivers may use the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to eastbound Raintree Drive to the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard east of the closure. 
    • Westbound detour: Drivers may use the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to westbound Bell Road to the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard west of the closure.
