Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation initiated a new project to increase truck parking in rest areas along Interstate 40 and Interstate 17 in Arizona. The rest areas and approximate dates of construction include: 

  • I-40: Parks Rest Area - 12 miles west

Northbound Interstate 17 will be closed at Jomax Road in north Phoenix this weekend from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (Sept. 9) for ongoing pavement improvement work. Learn more here.
