This project is complete

The Arizona Department of Transportation repaired the pavement on US 95 between Aberdeen Road (mileposts 44.30) and Castle Dome Mine Road (milepost 54), north of Yuma. The work consists of removing the existing pavement surface and replacing it with new asphalt concrete.

This project is complete

The Arizona Department of Transportation repaired the pavement on US 95 between Castle Dome Mine Road (milepost 54) and the La Paz County line (milepost 67). The work consisted of removing the existing pavement surface and replacing it with new asphalt concrete. 
After not getting a new license plate for 1946 due to post-war shortages, Arizonans were giddy to hear a 1947 plate was coming. That excitement lasted until the plates arrived.

The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed a scour retrofit on four bridges along I-40 in the community of Ash Fork (milepost 146). The project will help protect the bridge structures during floods and active water runoff.

The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a project to install centerline rumble strips along State Route 89 south of Ash Fork (mileposts 339-363).

The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising motorists to plan ahead and plan to use detours as southbound SR 143 will be closed between Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) March 22-25.

Another thing happens this time of year: Schools take a week off for spring break.

As Arizonans dig out green clothing and shamrock regalia from their closets and prepare to head out to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, we at ADOT want to remind drivers to have a game plan of how they’re getting home after the revelry is over. 

Don’t leave it up to Lady Luck. Have a plan: whether that’s hailing a rideshare vehicle, designating a driver, or phoning a friend.
