Jennifer Toth was appointed director of the Arizona Department of Transportation on January 5, 2023, to lead the agency responsible for planning, designing, building, maintaining and operating the state’s multimodal transportation system, managing transportation revenue, and providing motor vehicle title, registration and driver license services.

Audra Merrick serves as state engineer and deputy director leading ADOT’s Multimodal Planning Division, Project Delivery and Operations Division, and Alternative Delivery and Major Projects Division. In this role, she oversees the development and delivery of ADOT’s construction program while driving the agency’s efforts to improve and sustain the safety and efficiency of Arizona’s transportation infrastructure.

Greg Byres serves as deputy director for business enterprise over Procurement Services, the State Transportation Board, Arizona Highways Magazine, the ADOT Transformation Office and the Employee and Business Development Office.
Joining ADOT in 2015, Greg has served as a senior project manager, state roadway engineer, director of the Multimodal Planning Division and state engineer.
Wayde Webb serves as chief operating officer/deputy director for the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Wayde oversees ADOT’s Financial Management Services, the Administrative Services Division, Human Resources and Equal Opportunity, Motor Vehicle Division and the Information Technology Group.
