Paving operations start May 3

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling in Globe to expect the following restrictions on US 60, between Santee Street and US 70 (mileposts 250-252), for milling and paving operations:

  • US 60 east- and westbound lane restrictions nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, May 3.
    • Temporary driveway restrictions will be in place

SCAM ALERT - July 30, 2025:

Some people have reported receiving a text message including an ADOT Motor Vehicle Division logo and demanding payment for an outstanding traffic citation. This is a scam.  It has no connection to ADOT and should be ignored.

UPDATE: Eastbound Loop 303 closures between 43rd Avenue and I-17 scheduled June 18-27

This alert updates the dates and times for the eastbound Loop 303 closures and adds a  westbound Loop 303 closure and an I-17 off-ramp closure at Loop 303/Sonoran Desert Drive

  • Eastbound Loop 303 will be CLOSED between 43rd Avenue and I-17 at the following times:
    • 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, June 18, and W

There is an impending federal change to High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane exemptions. HOV lane usage by alternative fuel vehicles is regulated by 23 U.S.C. 166(b).  This federal law was enacted in 2005 and includes an expiration date of September 30, 2025.

If Congress does not extend the exemption expiration date, owners of alternative fuel vehicles and vehicles with Energy Efficient plates

PHOENIX – The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 are closed in Tempe.

The closure is due to a crash after Broadway Road.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. 

There is no estimated time to reopen the eastbound lanes. The westbound lanes are unaffected.

Detour in place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

US 60 between Superior and Miami (mileposts 227-243) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, Wednesday, June 24, and Thursday, June 25.
