Expect nighttime lane restrictions and reduced speed limit

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling in Globe to plan for the following lane restrictions on US 60, between Santee Street and US 70 (mileposts 250-252), as work restarts on the pavement rehabilitation project:

  • East- and westbound lane restrictions nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, April 19, through

SCAM ALERT - July 30, 2025:

Some people have reported receiving a text message including an ADOT Motor Vehicle Division logo and demanding payment for an outstanding traffic citation. This is a scam.  It has no connection to ADOT and should be ignored.

Northbound Interstate 17 lane restrictions scheduled overnight May 8

  • Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to two lanes between Loop 303/Sonoran Desert Drive and Dove Valley Road from 9 p.m. Friday, May 8, to 6 a.m. Saturday, May 9.

NOTE: The speed limit in the work zone is reduced to 55 mph for the duration of the project.

There is an impending federal change to High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane exemptions. HOV lane usage by alternative fuel vehicles is regulated by 23 U.S.C. 166(b).  This federal law was enacted in 2005 and includes an expiration date of September 30, 2025.

If Congress does not extend the exemption expiration date, owners of alternative fuel vehicles and vehicles with Energy Efficient plates

PHOENIX – The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 are closed in Tempe.

The closure is due to a crash after Broadway Road.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. 

There is no estimated time to reopen the eastbound lanes. The westbound lanes are unaffected.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers there are no lane restrictions or road closures planned on US 60 east of Superior, between mileposts 227-243, from April 27 - May 1.

  • The eastbound Loop 101 on-ramps at 75th and 67th avenues will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday, April 26, and ending Friday morning, May 1. 
    • Eastbound Loop 101 also will be narrowed to two lanes between 67th and 59th avenues during this time. 
       
  • North- and southbound 35th Avenue will be closed in both directions at Loop 101 nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m

  • Lindsay Road will be closed in both directions at Loop 202 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, April 27, to the morning of Friday, May 1, and again from 10 p.m. Friday, May 1, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 4.
    • Detour: Drivers may use Pecos or Germann roads to navigate around the closure.
       
  • The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Arizona Avenue will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, May 1, to 5

Prepare for delays

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling on Interstate 40 southwest of Kingman to expect daytime lane restrictions beginning Tuesday, May 28, through the end of October as crews replace the top pavement surface on a 14-mile segment of the interstate.
