Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

Expect 24/7 lane restrictions for bridge rehabilitation

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling on north- and southbound Interstate 19 at the Western Avenue/Target Range Road overpass in Nogales to expect 24/7 lane restrictions as work on bridge rehabilitation projects are scheduled to begin Sunday, Feb. 8, through Friday, June 5.

Motorists can expect the following

• The Eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Seventh Street will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, March 20, to 5 a.m. Monday, March 23. The following restrictions will also be in place during this time: 
  • The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Seventh Street will be narrowed to one lane. 
  • Northbound Seventh Street will be narrowed to two lanes between Roosevelt Street and I-10. 
  • Southbound Seventh Street

• Southbound SR 51 will be CLOSED between Northern and Highland avenues (south of Camelback Road) from 9 p.m. Friday, March 20, to 5 a.m. Monday, March 23. The following ramps also will be closed:
  • The southbound SR 51 on-ramps at 32nd and 26th streets

DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking

This update removes the SR 83 driveway restriction and extends the lane restriction schedule through April.
