Long-term ramp closures are needed to realign on- and off-ramps to accommodate the additional general purpose lanes. The following is the current schedule of starting dates for ramp closures through early August. Each closure will last approximately 60 days.

• April 15, Shea Blvd northbound on-ramp (Reopened Saturday, June 15)
• April 29, Cactus Rd northbound off-ramp (Reopened Friday, June 28)

This notification updates the times of lane restrictions along southbound Loop 101 and adds restrictions along northbound Loop 101.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following overnight restrictions in north Scottsdale as part of the Loop 101 (Pima Freeway), Princess Drive/Pima Road to Shea Boulevard Improvements.

US 60X (Main Street) intersection closure scheduled May 19

REMINDER: Ongoing Main Street cross street closures in place until May 23

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following intersection closure for electrical work:

• North- and southbound Sossaman Road will be CLOSED at Main Street from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 19.

PHOENIX – The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 are closed near Picacho, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The closure is due to a crash at milepost 217.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. 

There is no estimated time to reopen the eastbound lanes. The westbound lanes are unaffected.

Pursuant to the Arizona Supreme Court’s opinion in BSI Holdings, L.L.C. v. State of Arizona, MVD interprets a “day” to mean a 24-hour period when determining non-resident status of an aircraft.

The Mobile ID app is experiencing technical issues. We are aware of the problem and working with the vendor on a solution.

PHOENIX – The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 are closed at milepost 354 past Willcox, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The closure is due to a crash. There is no estimated reopening time.

State Route 68 pavement preservation project between Bullhead City and Golden Valley is completed.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers that a newly paved 14-mile segment of State Route 68 between Bullhead City and Golden Valley is completed. 

The project included removing and replacing the existing pavement from east of the SR 68 and Laughlin Bridge intersection

PHOENIX – US 93 is closed in both directions at milepost 198 near Wickenburg, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The closure is due to a crash. There is no estimated reopening time.
