PHOENIX – The eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 are closed near Allentown, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The closure is due to a crash at milepost 354, which is approximately six miles west of the New Mexico state line.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. 

There is no estimated time to reopen the eastbound lanes. The westbound lanes

PHOENIX – The westbound lanes of Interstate 10 are closed south of Tucson, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The closure is due to a crash at milepost 270 near Kolb Road.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. 

There is no estimated time to reopen the westbound lanes. The eastbound lanes are unaffected.

PHOENIX – The westbound lanes of State Route 238 are closed due to flooding, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The closure is at milepost 42, which is west of Maricopa.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. 

There is no estimated time to reopen the highway.

Attention Aircraft Owners: 

As a result of legislation approved this year, there will be changes to the aircraft registration system in the coming months. 

Effective before the 2023 registration cycle: 

  • Balloon owners will no longer be required to pay registration fees.
  • Decals will no longer be required on aircraft.
  • A change in the assessment formula may result in registration credits

Due to a change in the ServiceArizona payment processor, system updates will occur on February 14, 2022. For security reasons, saved credit card information cannot be transferred to the new payment processor. Beginning February 15, 2022, you may re-enter and save your credit card payment information in the system. This change will not impact saved banking (ACH) information.

Legislation passed in the 2021 legislative session reinstated the driving privileges of Arizona drivers whose licenses had been suspended or restricted exclusively for failure to pay civil traffic violations. Reinstatement of driver licenses occurred on Sept. 29, 2021, which was the effective date of this law. Reinstatement happened automatically and required no action on the part of the customer
