PHOENIX – The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 are closed in Tempe.

The closure is due to a crash after Broadway Road.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. 

There is no estimated time to reopen the eastbound lanes. The westbound lanes are unaffected.

Detour in place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures on US 60 for a bridge replacement project:

  • US 60 between Superior and Miami (mileposts 227-243) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, Wednesday, Jan. 14, and Thursday, Jan. 15.

Detour: Eastbound US 60 drivers can use southbound State Route 177

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists that construction is underway on the US 93 Cane Springs Improvement project located north of Wikieup.

Crews will be working during the next several weeks to clear the work zone in preparation of mobilizing construction equipment to the area. Most of the construction will take place off of US 93 and will have limited impact to motorists

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for continued north- and southbound lane restrictions along State Route 95 in Quartzsite for temporary barrier wall placement and pipe work.  

The following lane restrictions will occur 24 hours a day, seven days a week through Friday, Sept. 5.

Plan for mostly overnight I-10 closures for tunnel maintenance in Phoenix

PHOENIX – A limited number of closures are scheduled for freeway improvement projects in the Phoenix area this weekend (Jan. 9-12), according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. They include mostly overnight closures of Interstate 10 in the downtown Phoenix area for scheduled tunnel cleaning and maintenance

  • North- and southbound 51st Avenue will be closed at Loop 101 during the following:
    • 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, to 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9.
    • Nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning Tuesday, Jan. 13, to the morning of Thursday, Jan. 15.
      • DETOUR: Drivers may use the east- and westbound frontage road (Beardsley Road) to 35th or 59th avenues to get around the closure.

  • UPDATED: Westbound Loop 202 will be narrowed to two lanes between Arizona Avenue and Alma School Road during the following times:
    • Nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Jan. 12, ending the morning of Friday, Jan. 16.
    • 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17.

Prepare for delays

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling on Interstate 40 southwest of Kingman to expect daytime lane restrictions beginning Tuesday, May 28, through the end of October as crews replace the top pavement surface on a 14-mile segment of the interstate.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the southbound Loop 101  on-ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard to be closed beginning at 1 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19 for approximately 60 days for ramp reconstruction as part of the current Loop 101 widening project.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to the Raintree Drive southbound on-ramp
