US 60X (Main Street) cross street closures scheduled June 17-19, 22-24 

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following Main Street cross street closures:

June 17-19 Cross Street Closures

The following cross street closures will be in place from 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, to 6 a.m. Friday, June 19:

  • Hawes Road will be CLOSED on the south side of Main Street.
    • DETOUR: Drivers may consider taking southbound 83rd Place or 84th Way to Broadway Road to access Hawes Road south of the closure.
  • Ellsworth Road will be CLOSED on the south side of Main Street.
    • DETOUR: Southbound Ellsworth Road drivers may consider taking eastbound Main Street to southbound Crismon Road to westbound Broadway Road to access Ellsworth Road south of the closure.
  • Crismon Road will be CLOSED on the north side of Main Street.
    • DETOUR: Northbound Crismon Road drivers may consider taking eastbound Main Street to northbound Signal Butte Road to westbound University Drive to access Crismon Road north of the closure.
  • Signal Butte Road will be CLOSED on the south side of Main Street.
    • DETOUR: Southbound Signal Butte Road drivers may consider taking eastbound Main Street to southbound Meridian Road to westbound Broadway Road to access Signal Butte Road south of the closure.

June 22-24 Cross Street Closures

The following cross street closures will be in place from 5 a.m. Monday, June 22, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 24:

  • Ellsworth Road will be CLOSED on the north side of Main Street.
    • DETOUR: Northbound Ellsworth Road drivers may consider taking eastbound Main Street to northbound Crismon Road to westbound University Drive to access Ellsworth Road north of the closure.
  • Crismon Road will be CLOSED on the south side of Main Street.
    • DETOUR: Southbound Crismon Road drivers may consider taking eastbound Main Street to southbound Signal Butte Road to westbound Broadway Road to access Crismon Road south of the closure.
  • Signal Butte Road will be CLOSED on the north side of Main Street.
    • DETOUR: Northbound Signal Butte Road drivers may consider taking eastbound Main Street to northbound Meridian Road to westbound University Drive to access Signal Butte Road north of the closure.

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

PHOENIX – Three new names will soon be placed on some of the Arizona Department of Transportation’s snowplows after Arizonans submitted about 3,400 entries last month in ADOT’s second Name-A-Snowplow
