PHOENIX – US 93 is closed in both directions due to a crash, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The crash is at milepost 175, near State Route 71. The southbound side of the highway is closed at Interstate 40. The northbound side is closed at SR 71. Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. 

There is no estimated time to reopen the road.

Westbound I-8 closed in Wellton

PHOENIX – Westbound Interstate 8 is closed in Wellton, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The closure is due to a crash at milepost 29 in Wellton, about 29 miles east of Yuma. Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. 

There is no estimated time to reopen the westbound lanes. The eastbound lanes are unaffected.

Training course required for off highway vehicle registrations

Owners registering off-highway vehicles (OHVs) will use AZMVDNOW.gov to take a safety course required by a state law taking effect in January. This course will be required one time for at least one of the OHV owners prior to vehicle registrations or renewals between Jan. 1, 2025, and June 1, 2027.
