The Arizona Department of Transportation advises Payson and Star Valley area drivers to plan for intermittent lane restrictions on State Route 260 as work begins on the widening project in the town of Star Valley between Mayfield Canyon Road and Forest Road.

The following traffic restrictions will be in effect when construction starts on Monday, June 8:

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for lane restrictions on State Route 85 between Elota Avenue (milepost 42) and milepost 60 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, beginning Monday, June 8, through spring 2027 as a new pavement rehabilitation project gets underway in Ajo and Why.

Motorists can expect the following restrictions:

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in conjunction with Pinal County, advises motorists traveling on Battaglia Drive in Arizona City to expect overnight alternating lane restrictions beginning Sunday, June 7, as a shoulder widening project gets underway.

The following restrictions will be in place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday tentatively through the end of August:

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for delays along US 60 between Show Low and Springerville in the White Mountains area as a pavement project resumes work between State Route 61 and Wildcat Creek Thursday, May 28, after a winter hiatus.

Drivers should expect the following restrictions from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays:

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for lane restrictions on US 60 as final work on a passing lane project resumes along 3 miles of US 60 between Little Mormon Lake Road and Bell Spring on Monday, June 1, after a winter hiatus.

Drivers should expect the following restrictions to be in place from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, June 1, through Wednesday, June 3:

US 60 (Grand Avenue) on-ramp at 27th Avenue scheduled to be closed May 26-27

Overnight lane restrictions along Thomas Road and 27th Avenue continue through May 29 

  • The US 60 westbound on-ramp at 27th Avenue will be closed from 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, to 5 a.m. Thursday, May 28. 
    • Detour: Drivers may consider driving north on 27th Avenue to Indian School Road to access northbound US 60.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises Payson area drivers to plan for around-the-clock lane restrictions on State Route 87 at the State Route 260 junction as work continues on the SR 87 Payson Street Improvements project.

The following restrictions will be in place beginning 8 p.m. Sunday, May 17, through 7 a.m. Thursday, May 21:

Northbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) between I-10 and Indian School Road closed this weekend, May 29-June 1

The southbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Thomas Road closed Saturday, May 30; long-term nightly lane restrictions on Thomas Road at Loop 101 begin June 8 

  • Northbound Loop 101 will be CLOSED between I-10 and Indian School Road from 9 p.m. Friday, May 29, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 1.

Expect delays for improvement work on bridge deck over SR 179

Drivers on southbound Interstate 17 approaching the State Route 179 interchange (Sedona turnoff) should expect slow traffic and delays, especially during peak travel times, while work is underway on a bridge improvement project starting Sunday (April 26).

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises Cornville residents to plan for a full closure of Tissaw Road on May 11 as Phase 2 of roundabout construction begins.

The following Phase 2 restrictions will be in place beginning Monday, May 11, through fall 2026:
