ADOT reaches halfway mark on I-10 widening project in Tucson

The Arizona Department of Transportation has reached the halfway mark on a project to reconstruct and widen Interstate 10 between Kino Parkway and Alvernon Way southeast of downtown Tucson.

This project is currently shut down for the winter.

Project Cost: $33.8 million

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Navajo Nation, has initiated a pavement rehabilitation project along Interstate 40 near the communities of Chambers and Sanders (mileposts 331-342).

Work is scheduled to begin spring 2027.
