Northbound Loop 101 closed between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road June 19-21

Loop 101 lane and ramp restrictions scheduled June 23-29; southbound Loop 101 closure between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard scheduled June 26-29

  • Northbound Loop 101 will be CLOSED between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road from 10 p.m. Friday, June 19, to 4 a.m. Sunday, June 21. The northbound Loop 101 on-ramps at 90th Street and Via De Ventura also will be closed.
    • DETOUR: Drivers may consider using westbound Shea Boulevard to northbound Scottsdale Road to access Loop 101 beyond the closure.
  • Southbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard from 4 a.m. Sunday, June 21, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 22. Expect southbound Loop 101 on- and off-ramp closures in the area at times.

NEW: JUNE 23-26 RESTRICTIONS 

  • Northbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday night, June 23, and Wednesday night, June 24.
  • Southbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday night, June 23, and ending Friday morning, June 26. Expect southbound Loop 101 on- and off-ramp closures in the area at times.
    • Ramp detours: Drivers may consider using the next on- or off-ramp along the freeway. Consecutive on- and off-ramps will not be closed simultaneously. Follow the signed detour routes.

UPCOMING WEEKEND CLOSURE/RESTRICTIONS (JUNE 26-29)

  • Southbound Loop 101 will be CLOSED between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard from 10 p.m. Friday, June 26, to 4 a.m. Sunday, June 28. The southbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Scottsdale and Hayden roads also will be closed.
    • DETOUR: Drivers may consider using southbound Scottsdale Road to eastbound Shea Boulevard to access Loop 101 beyond the closure.
  • Southbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to two lanes between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard from 4 a.m. Sunday, June 28, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 29.

Law enforcement officers will be on site and the speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
