Major improvements are in the works for those who use Interstate 10 in the Tucson area, where new lanes and a rebuilt interchange are on track to open by the end of the coming year.

2024 will see the launch of two Loop 101 widening projects as well as advancements on improvement projects that are underway along I-10 near the Broadway Curve and along I-17 north of Phoenix.
ADOT worked with the Hopi Tribe and the Federal Highway Administration on a safety project for residents of the Hopi community of Second Mesa along State Route 264 in northeastern Arizona.
