This project is complete

The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed a project on Interstate 10 west of Benson between milepost 302.95 and 303.56 in Cochise County. This project extended the climbing lane on westbound Interstate 10 between State Route 80 on-ramp and SR 90 off-ramp.

The SR 288 Salt River Bridge is a beautiful remote connection to Arizona's transportation history.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for continued north- and southbound lane restrictions along State Route 95 in Quartzsite for temporary barrier wall placement and pipe work.  

The following lane restrictions will occur 24 hours a day, seven days a week through Friday, Sept. 5.

  • North- and southbound SR 95 between Tyson Street and milepost 116 will be reduced to one lane.  A temporary traffic signal will be in place. Note: Restrictions will be lifted during the Labor Day weekend. 
  • A 12-foot width restriction will be in place. 
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.

Delays are likely, so allow extra travel time. Proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
