Wecom Fiber plans to provide broadband internet to 30,000 households and businesses along the Interstate 17 corridor between Phoenix and Flagstaff. As part of a state initiative, ADOT has installed fiber-optic conduit along I-17 and I-19 and currently is adding it along I-40 West.

The Arizona Department of Transportation is reminding the public that it is seeking comment through Friday, July 18, on an engineering and environmental study of the Sonoran Corridor, a proposed freeway in the Tucson region that would connect Interstates 19 and 10, south of Tucson International Airport.

ADOT produces the annual Motor Vehicle Crash Facts report, which is compiled from traffic crash reports provided by law enforcement agencies around the state. The data shows that crashes and fatalities are driven by driver behavior, involving impairment, speed and failure to use seatbelts.
