The Arizona Department of Transportation in partnership with Pinal County is tentatively scheduled to begin work in summer 2026 on the Battaglia Drive shoulder widening project between Henness and Overfield roads. The purpose of the project is to construct wider shoulders to help improve mobility along the corridor.
