The Arizona Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Gila River Indian Community and Maricopa Association of Governments, is proposing to construct improvements along SR 347, between Interstate 10 (I-10) and the northern limits of the city of Maricopa.
The Arizona Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration, completed construction of the Interim Phase II section of State Route 24 (SR 24) also referred to as Gateway Freeway, in August 2022. The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will be conducting a pavement improvement project on northbound State Route 51 at Camelback Road. The approximately $1.5 million project will improve the ride quality of the freeway beneath the Camelback Road bridge by replacing a 400-foot section of the northbound SR 51 pavement.
