Some people have reported receiving a text message including an ADOT Motor Vehicle Division logo and demanding payment for an outstanding traffic citation. This is a scam.  It has no connection to ADOT and should be ignored.

I-17 traffic shift starts Thursday (Aug. 7) south of Flagstaff

Move allows for ongoing construction of wildlife overpass

Starting Thursday, Aug. 7, traffic on I-17 in an area south of Flagstaff will temporarily shift to one side of the highway for ADOT's ongoing construction of a wildlife overpass. Drivers should allow extra time during peak travel periods and be prepared to slow down in all work zones.

Ramp closure starts Monday night, Aug. 4, for widening project west of I-17

The westbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) off-ramp at 67th Avenue will be closed for approximately two months starting at 11:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, for the freeway improvement project west of I-17. Learn more here.

AZ 511 is part of 511, the nationally-designated, three-digit telephone number for traveler information. Information on highway closures and restrictions is available by calling 511, visiting az511.gov or downloading the AZ 511 mobile app. The website and app include routing, travel times, roadwork and views from ADOT's statewide network of highway cameras. AZ 511 is maintained and operated by the Arizona Department of Transportation in cooperation with regional, state and local partners.
